The Weston Prom Run will start at its normal time of 19:30 tonight outside the Pavilion Bar, Weston-super-Mare. However, Due to construction working to the costal defences the far end of the promenade will be closed. Because of this the race will be moved onto the road alongside the prom. The road should be closed to traffic and extra marshals will be available, please be advised that there are several speed bumps along the road and extra care should be taken. Please also be advised that road works outside the Winter Gardens has restricted the space available on the prom, care and attention should be taken to other pedestrians and runners through this section.
This is to advise that the Beacon Batch race will be held on Tuesday 23rd June at 7.30pm with registration from 6.15 to 7.15pm at the Langford Inn, Lower Langford, Near Churchill, North Somerset, BS40 5BL.
Please note that entries will only be accepted on the day. Please see below a link to the entry form.

[ Team Summary ]
On behalf of Bideford AAC I would be grateful if you would pass on our apologies to all of your club members who took part in the 15th Bideford Half Marathon last Sunday.
Whilst the course had been accurately measured and marked, our marshals at one of the first turns failed to direct runners correctly which resulted in the route distance being increased by an estimated 0.3 miles. We appreciate that this error will have caused confusion and that some of your club runners may have missed an opportunity for a PB or qualifying time as a result. We cannot undo what has happened but we will certainly endeavour to ensure that it never happens again. Karen Curry (Race Director) has taken advice from Paul Ross at Devon County Athletics who has advised that because all runners followed the same course the results will stand.
Once again, our apologies for the error which has occurred.
Congratulations to Jo and Sam Gray on completing the Mad March Pukka 20 in Christchurch on Sunday 1 March in a time of 03:16:23.
