This season's big social event will be on 12 February at the Royal Hotel (7:00pm for 7:30pm). The cost will be 15 per head, with the balance being paid for by the club. Numbers are limited to approximately 180 so it will be first come first served; but a place is only confirmed when full payment is made. Money should be given to Paul Snelling or Ian Carpenter if possible, but also Julie Shergold or Carol O`Leary.

The choice of menu should be given at the time of payment. The gorgeous menu is:

Starters
1. Tea Soaked Melon
2. Soup of the day
3. Salmon and prawn mousse
4. Smoked chicken and Black Forest Ham Ballotine

Main Course
1. Wild mushroom and spinach Wellington
2. Sea bass Fillet with caper and lemon Butter and Orange glazed carrots
3. Braised Chicken Chausseur with red current Crouton
4. Braised Steak, with a choice of Brandy & Mustard peppercorn sauce or red wine sauce

Desserts
1. Kiwi and Pineapple mousse
2. Morello Cherry and Amaretto Bread & Butter pudding
3. Dark Chocolate Maple and Pecan cheesecake
4. Ice cream

Coffee afterwards is included.
